Home Organization Testimonials
“I inherited 70 years of accumulation when I moved into my parent’s home. Their stuff and my stuff, it was overwhelming! Linda came to help and I felt comfortable right away with her friendly and nonjudgmental style. We did the whole house, attic to basement. Now, I’m saving money when I shop because I can see what I have at home! Thanks, Linda!”
Thayer D.
Fine Arts Instructor
“I look forward to Linda’s visits because I know we are going to accomplish something concrete. Her methodology is sophisticated but easy to follow. She teaches me to be focused and enjoy it. Since Linda has been helping, I no longer dread the move.”
Sue B.

“After my leg surgery, it was hard for me to get around. It was so frustrating. Linda re-organized my office and craft room to make them work for me. Now, everything is at my fingertips and I feel productive again! She’s been a Godsend !”

Let me help you get your home under control. Home organizing can be fun and easy. The key is discovering the organizing system which is right for you.
- Are you an Inny or an Outy?
- Are you Left brain or Right brain dominant?
- What’s working and what’s not working?
- What’s driving you crazy?
I’ll work with you to find solutions which are just right for you. In most cases, its not you, but your system and products are not the right fit for your personality.
Hoarders
Hoarding has literally come out of the closet this past year with several TV shows, including Oprah, covering the topic. It is quite common and I am happy that Hoarders are beginning to be comfortable asking for help. The best approach is a team effort which includes Behavioral Therapy, the support of family members and a Professional Organizer.
Our approach with Hoarders is to conduct an initial assessment and recommend the client begin therapy. We have one of the best resources in the nation right here in Hartford at the Institute of Living, Anxiety Disorders Center. The Director there, Dr. David Tolin, is an author, an expert on the topic and has also appeared on Oprah. If you are a Hoarder or know someone who could use some help, I recommend starting with The Anxiety Disorders Center. Another excellent resource for information is the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization. (NSGCD) Hoarders must be READY and willing for real change to occur.
